Welcome

A team of volunteers have been working on a Heritage Project capturing the unique history of the area. The idea is to show a snapshot of the activities and life experiences of people in the past.

The research has been focussed on Arrad Foot, Broughton Beck, Greenodd, Mansriggs, Newland, Penny Bridge, Plumpton, Rosside, and Spark Bridge.

We also have had a team of 4 photographers ~ members of Furness u3a, who have been helping us, by taking photographs that support the research and show the beauty of our area.
